We’re excited to invite you to this year’s Mordecai Land Trust Annual Meeting, happening on Sunday, August 3 at 5:00 PM on the third floor of the Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club, 401 Berkeley Avenue in Beach Haven.
Each year, we gather to share updates, connect with the community, and learn something new about the environment we all care about. In past years, we’ve welcomed inspiring speakers—from Ben Wurst of the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ discussing the plight of ospreys, to USACE and NJDEP teams presenting the Mordecai Coastal Wetlands Restoration Project.
This year’s program is just as compelling. We’ll hear directly from members of the Mordecai Board and Project Team about the USACE Mordecai Breakwater Project, which is now moving into the construction phase of staging and design. You’ll also hear highlights from:
-
Bay Bash Fundraiser Results – presented by Julie Woldin
-
Miles for Mordecai at the Nature Expo – shared by Lynne Neff
-
“It’s Not All About the Birds” – a habitat update from Michele Budd
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just getting to know the Trust, we hope you’ll join us for this informative and engaging evening.
